One of our most exciting new Sponsors this year is MobioID. Mobio is a super-cool iPhone app that allows you to pay without cash or cards. Leveraging QR barcode technology (big in Japan) and strong cryptography, Mobio creates a random credit card number each time you scan a Mobio barcode to pay for something. So basically, all you have to do is download the app, register your credit card once, and you’re set to use the camera on your iPhone to pay for anything (including your Red&White ticket!).
Mobio will be contributing $10 to Rethink for every ticket sold through them, meaning your early bird ticket will only cost you $40, but Rethink will get $50! Red Bull is one of our fabulous returning sponsors this year, and we are so glad to have them on board.
The official website describes Red Bull® Energy Drink as a “functional beverage with a unique combination of ingredients. [That] has been specially developed for times of increased mental and physical exertion.” We have come to think of it as the fuel for the party. Afterall, that time mingling with other guests and busting a move on the dance floor certainly qualify as mental and physical exertion.
