Meet one of our fabulous co-chairs, Karen Passmore!

1. How did you get involved with Red & White Ball?

I’ve known several of the organizers over the years and got involved when the lovely Marissa Morettin was in charge. When she moved away from Toronto, she passed the torch on to Julie and I and we have been co-chairing the event ever since!

2. What song do you never get sick of?

‘Don’t Stop Believing’ by Journey (I wake up to this song every day) and ‘Walking on Sunshine’ by Katrina and the Waves

3. What’s your favourite Red & White Ball memory?

There’s been so many great memories from Red & White over the years – pole dancers, mini-cupcakes, photo booths, kettle corn, dance-offs, getting all dolled up with the girls and support from all my friends – every year is unique in its own way and every year tops the last.

4. How would you describe yourself in one word?

Tenacious

5. If you could be a character in a movie, what movie would you be in?

Some days, Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and other days Uma Thurman in Kill Bill – in both cases, not giving up until the job’s done.
