The attendees at Red & White Ball every year are hip. Most if not all are urban. About half are girls We’re hoping hip and urban girls bring their friends and significant others out to support Rethink Breast Cancer on April 29th, so we’re delighted to have the media support of HUG!

The Hip & Urban Girl’s Guide is a lifestyle website dedicated to urban eats, hip getaways, life advice, style and events to make things easy for the busy girl in the city. One of the cool things about Red and White Ball as a fundraiser gala, is that it tends to attract a bunch of phenomenally hip, savvy, super cool people who also happen to share their hip, savvy, super coolness on the Internet. Here’s a brief round up of some of the awesome event coverage we’ve seen in the few days since Red and White Ball 2010:

Crystal Gibson (@CrystalGibson for the Twitter folk), Social Media Manager for Glassbox Television – think Bite TV and AUX TV – attended the event on April 16, and managed to get a blog post up about it the very next day. That’s dedication!

With a bunch of photos and a great round-up of some of the event highlights, you should definitely check out her write up. We’re particularly fond of the super Prom 2010 picture and the dancefloor moves. (The DJ was just that good.)
